Lemonade Mouth: Meet Charlie Delgado!

Blake Michael tips his hat as Charlie Delgado in these new promo shots for Lemonade Mouth.
The 14-year-old actor told MFC about his drumming days: “Charlie is the drummer. He’s definitely laid-back, outgoing and sticks up for his friends when they’re in trouble. In the script, Charlie has been playing for years and I haven’t.”
“My dad was actually a drummer and he would teach me a few things here and there,” Blake admitted. “But I definitely wasn’t an advanced drummer at all. But with Lemonade Mouth, and the songs in it, a drum teacher actually came into teach me a lot of the stuff. It’s been cool.”

Lemonade Mouth: Meet Stella Yamada!

Hayley Kiyoko rocks out in these brand new promo pics as Stella Yamada in Lemonade Mouth.
“She’s new to the high school against her will. Stella becomes friends with these kids and decides that they should become a band, basically because her parent’s don’t give her that much attention,” Hayley, 19, shares with MFC.
When we asked Hayley how she would feel if she really had to move across the country, she replied, “I would hate that. I’m such a people person and I would miss my friends sooo much. I sympathize with kids who actually do have to do that because of their parents’ jobs or whatever the circumstance may be. It must be so difficult.”

Lemonade Mouth's First Single: 'Somebody!'

So, we know they aren’t a real band, but the stars of Lemonade Mouth are pretty talented!
Bridgit Mendler, Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Naomi Scott and Blake Michael just debuted the first song from their upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie and MFC loves it! We can not wait for more songs to make their way onto the internet.
The quintet, plus costar Nick Roux, also stopped by Radio Disney recently to chat about the flick.
Hayley and Bridgit had the chance to open up about their characters, Stella and Olivia. Bridgit shared, “She’s [Olivia] very reserved, the only reason she was in detention is because she was reading in the janitor’s closet.”
Hayley added, “I think it’s really cool that we have our differences and learn to embrace them. I hope people watch the movie and learn to accept each other. In the movie I’m a firecracker, strong and spontaneous. Sometimes that gets us in trouble!”
