Emma Roberts picks up some baked goods at a local Pavillions grocery store in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (April 22).
The 20-year-old actress, toting a Balenciaga messenger bag, also met up with her mom for manicures at a local nail salon. Much needed ‘mom and me’ time.
Emma stars as Sally in the upcoming The Art of Getting By (formerly Homework) — and the trailer is officially out! Summary: George (Freddie Highmore), is a budding artist who’s made it all the way to his senior year without ever completing a homework assignment. When he’s finally put on academic probation, he agrees to be mentored by Dustin (Michael Angarano).

Freddie Highmore: Bounced from Sundance Panel!

Stars aren’t above the law. Just ask Freddie Highmore!
The 18-year-old British actor was speaking during the Creative Coalition panel at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival when he was told he had to leave since the event was at a bar and he was under 21!
Freddie was a good sport about it though and left smiling, while the crowd gave him a round of applause and started chanting, “Freddie,Freddie, Freddie!”
Before he had to leave, the Homework star was asked what kind of movie he’d make.
Freddie shared, “You want to make something that’s personal to you. I think that things that can make a difference probably come from something you know and something you believe in.”
